Excellent summary article from ABC which reflects the Government’s vision for the Aussie economy as we increasingly need to move away from the reliance on resources.  Increased funding ($1bn) plus tax relief for startup investments. Let’s hope this gets bi-partisan approval asap, forgetting the political machinations of we suggested this and you suggested that.  Startups need support and the economy needs to reduce its reliance upon the vagaries of the international commodity markets – its that simple.

Let’s hope this can be agreed before the tech bubble fully deflates.
